In the midst of the UmaidBhawan Palace's public gardens stands this historical treasure, developed in the time of Maharaja Umaid Singhji. Within its walls is a wide collection of weapons, textiles, miniature portraits, local arts and crafts, military wonders like a majestic brass battleship, portraits of the rulers and manuscripts and images of the Jain Tirthankars. A library and zoo are also part of the museum complex.
